One of our incentives for offering a free-of-cost contest hosting service is to allow new competitive programmers to become familiar with Toph.
Creating an account on Toph is easy: all you need is a valid email address or one of the social network accounts that we support.
Organizers can use passphrase-based signup to allow participants to sign themselves up for an invite-only contest.
Toph also now supports team contests with regular Toph accounts.
When you host a training contest on Toph, you are helping Toph grow by introducing new competitive programmers and guiding them to create an account on Toph.
To ensure that the participant can only access the contest from within the contest venue, you may want to set up IP-based access restrictions from the contest settings. That way, someone outside the contest venue cannot access the contest arena even if they have access to a participant’s account.
For academic contests, we may consider a request for this feature to be made available in training contests when requested by university department heads and school/college principals. Please send any such request at sales@toph.co and provide the following information:
You can request for a new programming language to be added by posting it to Toph Community.
Toph supports a whole range of programming languages. However, any contest that you intend to participate in may have a restricted subset of those programming languages. We have a list of currently active (as well as experimentally supported) programming languages.
Toph supports all standard-compliant modern web browsers (on both desktop and mobile).
The following web browser versions are our recommended minimum:
Browser | Requirements |
---|---|
Google Chrome | Version 88 or above |
Mozilla Firefox | Version 85 or above |
